• Settings and preferences you configure within the App.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage data: features used, screens viewed, and interactions within the App.
• Push notification tokens for delivering in-app notifications.
• Crash reports and error logs to improve App stability.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your precise GPS location.
• We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or photos unless explicitly required by a feature you choose to use.
• We do not collect financial or payment information.
• We do not collect biometric data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
• Create and manage your account and couple pairing.
• Sync your tasks and data in real-time with your partner.
• Send push notifications you have opted into, including task reminders, nudges, and appreciations.
• Respond to your support requests and communications.
• Monitor and analyze usage to improve the App's functionality and user experience.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, and security threats.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only as follows:

• With your partner: Task content, comments, and activity are shared with the partner you have explicitly paired with via an invite code.
• With service providers: We use Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Messaging, and Crashlytics) to store data, authenticate users, deliver notifications, and log errors. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your data.
• For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• In connection with a business transfer: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. You will be notified via the App or email.

4. Data Storage and Security

Storage

• Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers. Firebase complies with industry-standard security certifications including ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Data is stored in Google Cloud data centers with encryption at rest and in transit using TLS.

Security Measures

• All network communications are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• Access to your data is restricted to your account and your paired partner.
• We implement Firebase Security Rules to prevent unauthorised access.

Data Retention

• Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
• If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Data portability: Request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
• Opt-out of notifications: Disable push notifications at any time in your device settings or within the App's Settings screen.
• Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

How to exercise your rights

• You may also delete your account directly from within the App.

6. Children's Privacy

• Together - Couple Todo is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area).
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.
• If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, database (Firestore), push notifications (FCM), and crash reporting (Crashlytics). See the Firebase Privacy Policy.
• The App does not currently integrate third-party advertising networks.
• Any future third-party integrations will be disclosed through an update to this Privacy Policy.

8. International Data Transfers

• Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States, where Google Firebase infrastructure is operated.
• By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
• We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Opt out of the sale of your personal information. (We do not sell personal information.)
• Non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.

If you are in the European Economic Area, our legal bases for processing your data are:

• Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the App's services.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

This website uses only essential cookies and Google Analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality.
