The Today screen has a quick-add bar at the top. Type a task name and hit enter — no need to go through the full form for simple items.
Can I set priorities so the most urgent tasks are obvious?
Yes. Set any task as Urgent, High, Normal, or Low priority. The Today view surfaces your top 3 priority tasks in a 'Do Now' section at the top.
